We are seeking hardworking individuals who can perform duties including bussing and food running. We welcome individuals who wish to grow in the company. This is a seasonal position, with training is scheduled to begin in mid-March and shifts beginning as early as April. Indoor/outdoor shifts will be assigned, as needed, across our dining rooms and rooftop bars.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in pre-shift set up and post-shift breakdown/cleaning of restaurant
Anticipate guest needs and communicate to appropriate staff members
Refill water glasses, paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers and any other depleted condiments
Run food orders to the correct guests in a timely and organized manner
Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins from tables after diners are done eating
Bus, clean, and reset tables after guests have left
Promptly identify and clean up spills, messes, and hazards, as needed, as well as respond to safety requests made by wait staff, bartenders, and management
Helping waitstaff, when available, with miscellaneous cleaning tasks
Emptying and relining full trash cans
Assist in dishwashing in the kitchen, as needed
Assist in glass cleaning and polishing behind the bar, as needed
Possess a basic knowledge of seasonal menus (food, tap list, cocktails, & wine)
Maintain clean and organized areas for trash, recycling, and linen receptacles (empty, reline, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & REQUIREMENTS
Punctuality
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout a shift
Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds
Comfortable with regular use of stairs throughout a shift
Energetic, flexible, and quick thinking
Clean and organized
At ease, yet professional with customers
Strong communication skills
Working knowledge of sanitation procedures
Preferred: previous experience working in the hospitality industry
